Like it or Not: Mexico is America’s Next Afghanistan

Red State | With the exception of, perhaps, Texas governor Rick Perry, no public official wants to publicly admit an obvious fact: The United States of America will likely be forced to invade Mexico. It’s not a matter of if , it’s a matter of when.  The question then becomes: What to do with Mexico after we invade it and wipe out the drug cartels (as much as can be). Does the United States merely return Mexico to a nation state of corrupt politicians, failed economic policies, and lawlessness, or do we annex Mexico and turn it into the 51st state?

Congress Votes Today on Millions of 10-Year Work Permits for Illegal Aliens | When the House and Senate (presumably) vote this afternoon, I think it is important to frame the issue in terms of giving out millions of additional 10-year work permits. You see, even people who don't qualify in the first place or who do qualify for the provisional amnesty but never meet the educational criteria later -- all of them can get a 10-year work permit from the start.

DREAM ACT amnesty would be another nightmare for American workers | If not enough that 15 million Americans suffer unemployment and another seven million cannot find full time jobs—your U.S. Congress led by Senator Harry Reid, re-elected by the most unemployed per capita population of all 50 states, introduced the Dream Act once again after it suffered defeat every year since 2000. If 41.8 million Americans subsisting on food stamps doesn’t send a message to Harry Reid, I cannot for the life of me, understand how an intellectual imbecile like Reid enjoyed re-election from a brain-dead Nevada electorate. Same goes for the California ‘vacant brains’ that voted Nancy Pelosi back into office!
