The Democrats are the Real Problem

By Mike Whitney | CounterPunch.org | Jul. 21, 2008
Obama's candidacy is over; kaput. He's already stated that he has no intention of stopping the war, so he has disqualified himself. That's his prerogative; no one put a gun to his head. His op-ed in Monday's New York Times just removes any lingering doubt about the matter. What Obama proposes is moving the central theater of operation from Iraq to Afghanistan. Big deal. Why is it more acceptable to kill a man who is fighting for his country in Afghanistan than in Iraq?

Kucinich to bring single article of impeachment for misleading US into war

By Nick Juliano | RawStory.com | Jul. 8, 2008
Few in the House of Representatives have any intention of doing anything with the last 35 articles of impeachment Kucinich set before them last month, so the former presidential candidate appears to be lightening the load. Kucinich sent a letter to colleagues Tuesday asking them to support a single article of impeachment, to be introduced Thursday, which accuses President Bush of leading the country to war based on lies.

Ron Paul: Something Big is Going On

By Ron Paul | CampaignForLiberty.com | Jul. 8, 2008
I have, for the past 35 years, expressed my grave concern for the future of America. The course we have taken over the past century has threatened our liberties, security and prosperity. In spite of these long-held concerns, I have days—growing more frequent all the time—when I’m convinced the time is now upon us that some Big Events are about to occur.

By Jonathan | TruthAlliance.net | Jul. 1, 2008
We Are Change Colorado has now become aware that another group, Unconventional Action, is planning on being violent at the DNC protests.  Violence is a broad term.  Some argue that property damage is violent, others might tell you it sends a message.  To most of the Truth Alliance and We Are Change Colorado activists, there is no message to property damage and is in fact, a form of violent behavior.  In the eyes of the law, property damage is completely, without debate, illegal.
