The link is the underdogs side of this story. The New York Times Sunday edition contacted TechCrunch creator Michael Arrington for a story about how rumours were reported. TechCrunch is a very popular technology blog. To typify the Times article, two quotes were taken out of context to create:

“Getting it right is expensive,” he says. “Getting it first is cheap."

This is another link of Arrington going after the AP for trying to reshape fair use. I think that Arrington might be the kind of guy to front the new media.
